This policy describes how Shayan Safaei, a real estate agent with On The Block Realty Inc. Brokerage, handles information provided through this website and related real estate communications.

Information you provide

When you contact us, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, message and communication preferences. The contact form sends your inquiry through our website hosting provider to our email inbox. The email includes your communication preference, the consent wording you saw, the time of submission and the relevant policy links. The form does not automatically enrol you in a mailing list or messaging program.

How we use information

We use your information to respond to inquiries, provide requested real estate services, arrange appointments, maintain client records and honour your communication preferences. If you expressly consent to SMS, we may send real estate inquiries and follow ups, appointment confirmations, reminders and requested property updates.

Sharing and SMS privacy

We do not sell phone numbers. Personal information will not be sold or shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information and SMS opt in data and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Service providers that help us deliver requested services, such as email, customer relationship management and messaging providers including Follow Up Boss when used, may process information on our behalf for those purposes. Information may also be disclosed where required by law, or to carry out a real estate transaction you authorize. These disclosures do not permit third parties to use your information for their own marketing. Service providers may process information outside Canada, where local laws may apply.

Text messaging choices

SMS consent is voluntary and is not required to contact us or receive services. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. An opt out confirmation may be sent, after which SMS messages will stop unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@shayansafaei.com. Website technology

This website does not use advertising trackers or analytics scripts. The hosting and email providers process inquiries to deliver them to us. The hosting provider may process IP addresses and request logs to deliver and secure the website. The form also uses hashed IP counters to limit abuse.

Retention and security

We retain information as needed to provide services, manage communication preferences and meet applicable recordkeeping requirements. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your requests

You may request access to or correction of your personal information, ask about its use, or withdraw consent by contacting Shayan at hello@shayansafaei.com. Requests are subject to applicable legal and recordkeeping requirements. To stop text messages, reply STOP to a message you receive.
